Description

The ASRock Phantom Gaming B850 Riptide WiFi is an ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM5 processors (Ryzen 7000/8000/9000 series). It features the AMD B850 chipset with a 14+2+1 power phase design using 80A Dr.MOS for the VCore and SOC. Memory support covers 4x DDR5 DIMM slots (dual channel) with up to 256 GB and speeds up to DDR5-8000+ (OC) via XMP and EXPO profiles. Expansion includes 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 and 1x PCIe 4.0 x16 slots, plus 1x PCIe Gen5 x4 M.2 (Blazing M.2) and 3x PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 slots, all with heatsinks. Storage connectivity is rounded out by 4x SATA III ports with RAID 0/1/10 support. Networking is handled by the Intel Killer E3100G 2.5 GbE controller and a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) + Bluetooth 5.4 module. Rear I/O includes 1x HDMI 2.1 (4K/60Hz), 4x USB 2.0, 3x USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C, and a 7.1 HD audio codec (Realtek ALC4082) with Nahimic Audio. Front panel headers include USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C (20 Gbps). RGB lighting is supported via POLYCHROME RGB and SignalRGB. BIOS Flashback allows firmware updates without a CPU or RAM installed.
