Description

The QNAP TS-855EU-8G is a 2U rack-mount NAS built for SMB environments demanding high availability and performance. Powered by an Intel Atom C5125 8-core/8-thread processor at 2.8 GHz (50 W TDP) with 9 MB cache and ECC support, it ships with 8 GB DDR4 SO-DIMM expandable to 64 GB across 2 slots. Eight 2.5"/3.5" SATA III hot-swap drive bays support HDD and SSD combinations, complemented by 2 PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 expansion slots and 2 M.2 (M+B) NVMe/SATA slots for SSD caching or tiering. Connectivity includes 2×2.5GbE RJ-45 ports (10/100/1000/2500 Mb/s), 4×USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and Fibre Channel support.
